The Frequent Traveler and Photographer
I have always been passionate about photography - my father taught me this art; he was a super enthusiast that he had a darkroom at home to develop and enlarge his own photos. Thank you, Mario!
Working in international trade all my life, I have always traveled extensively and always carried my camera with me on trips. As a result, my skills in street photography, cityscape, and landscape have developed, and today photography is an integral part of my life.
I have adopted the phrase from Thorsten Overgaard - a Leica photographer whom I admire: "Always wear a camera."
Cameras should not be left at home; they should always be with you, if possible, every day, all day, ready to use as soon as anything catches your eye. And when that happens, don't hesitate: take the photo, then think.
Believing in instinct is the first rule for taking good photos.
Traveling constantly for work around the world, following this philosophy of always carrying a camera to capture my personal diary, I currently use the Leica M system. It is the best system for my context: the most compact with the best lenses and the best performance!
I was born in Brazil, live in Lugano (CH) after 20 years in Verona (IT) and for work, I have spent some years of my life in Asia - China, Hong Kong, and Jakarta.
Throughout this journey, I have studied as a professional in the field to improve my photography. I have taken many courses, graduated from the Photoserge Institute of Photography, participated in various workshops around the world, have had published works, several photos in the Leica Gallery, a Leica Master Shot, and achieved excellent results in various photography contests. Additionally, I feel very happy and proud to have many frames with my photos hanging on walls around the world.
My current goal is to further strengthen my connection with photography by sharing my experiences acquired during this journey with an even larger number of people through courses, workshops, and digital media.
